Welcome! I’m Melissa VanAlst, founder of Legis HR Solutions, a firm dedicated to helping businesses navigate workplace compliance, employee relations, and ethical workplace practices. With over 14 years of experience conducting complex workplace investigations and training HR professionals, I’ve seen firsthand how compliance gaps and poor employee experiences can negatively impact businesses.
I hold a Master of Jurisprudence in Labor and Employment Law from Tulane University School of Law, giving me a strong foundation in employment regulations, workplace rights, and HR best practices. Throughout my career, I’ve worked with organizations of all sizes, and one thing remains constant: companies that prioritize compliance and employee experience thrive, while those that don’t face costly risks and high turnover.
